Panel vans are classified as commercial vehicles in Trinidad and Tobago. Individuals with a registered business, Farmer’s ID, or Fisherman’s ID are eligible to purchase these vehicles. Panel vans are available by order only, with an estimated delivery time of three (3) months.
The required documents vary based on the type of purchaser, as outlined below:
For Sole Traders
- Business Registration Certificate
- Personal BIR Certificate
- Four (4) purchase invoices/receipts
- Four (4) sales invoices/receipts
- Certified copy of the vehicle currently used in the business
- Two (2) forms of identification
- Company stamp
- Utility bill as proof of address
For Partnerships
- Business Registration Certificate
- Company BIR Certificate
- Four (4) purchase invoices/receipts
- Four (4) sales invoices/receipts
- Certified copy of the vehicle currently used in the business
- Two (2) forms of identification

- Utility bill as proof of address
For Limited Liability Companies
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Company BIR Certificate

- VAT Certificate (if applicable)
